Ranger Subclass for 5e
Somebody has to carry the lantern on the night road, and this ranger fights by its light. Mark one enemy and stay on it, and at 11th level the target call starts handing Advantage to the entire party, which makes whatever the Warden pointed at a lot easier for everyone to hit.
The other half of the job happens after dark. The watch feature lets a camp take a Long Rest in places other parties won't, and that comes in handy when the road runs long. At 15th level, anyone who hits one of the ranger's people gets a Reaction attack back for it.
