4 Fallen-Kingdom Subclasses for 5e

The fighter in this pack garrisons a fortress that fell before they were born, and that sets the tone for the rest. The paladin swears an oath to the stone still standing. The wizard picks through spent magic for parts, and the cleric keeps holding services in a temple with no roof.

WARDEN OF THE FALLEN KEEP (fighter) fights like part of the building. It shaves damage off allies every round, stamps low walls up out of the ground, and has a crenellation that follows the enemy archers' favorite target around the field.

OATH OF THE LAST STONE (paladin) spends the whole campaign on one question, whether the thing it swore to falls. Its aura cancels Critical Hits and its Channel Divinity plants the whole line where it stands. Once a day at 15th level, the paladin gets to say no.

SCHOOL OF SALVAGE (wizard) collects whatever spent spells leave behind. Salvage dice come in as magic burns out on either side of the fight, and the pile turns into a payload or, once a day, a free spell.

THE BROKEN TEMPLE (cleric) consecrates the fight the party is already in. Rubble rises up for cover and stone hits back at whoever crosses the line. At 17th level a translucent cathedral comes rolling in.
