Barbarian Path for 5e
Everyone within reach of this barbarian's Rage is under shelter. The path intercepts the hits meant for them and banks an Ember for each one, and the barbarian stands in the doorway getting bigger as the Rage goes on.
Ending the Rage on purpose brings the Embers back as warmth. That can be Temporary Hit Points for the huddle, or a clear head for anyone Charmed or Frightened. And once a day, somebody in reach who would have dropped stays standing, with the cost paid out of the barbarian's own hit points.
