Paladin Oath for 5e
A paladin who takes the Oath of the Vigil has sworn to a threshold. They mark one enemy for a duel, and the mark pays out if that enemy hurts anyone other than the paladin. Fifteen feet of ground belongs to them, and an aura keeps allies where they choose to stand.
An enemy who wants out has two ways to go, and the oath keeps a loaded answer for each. The idea under all of it is remaining, and the kit backs that up by making the square where the paladin plants their feet the strongest one on the map.
