Ready-to-Run Campaign Endings
Tonight is the last session, and everyone at the table knows it. That happens less often than it should, since plenty of campaigns trail off when schedules get hard and the last scene never gets played. This book is for the planned kind of ending, where the table sits down knowing it and plays the night that way.
There are five final sessions here, each on a single page you can run from. Each has a premise, a gathering that pulls the whole campaign into the room, three scenes, and the people with their wants and tells. Underneath sits the turn, with a note on what the epilogue inherits and another for tables that want to keep playing past the end. Every ending pairs by name with one of the openings in Five First Sessions.
After the last roll comes the Epilogue Round, a five-step procedure for the final hour. Each player gets a scene set a year later, the characters cross paths, and the world takes its round before everyone makes a last pass on what their character keeps and where it ends up. It bolts onto any finale, including one you wrote yourself, and it also fits a campaign that ended two years ago without a proper goodbye.
WHAT'S INSIDE
- 5 complete campaign endings, one page each, dense enough to run from at the table.
- 15 final-session NPCs with wants and readable tells.
- The Epilogue Round, a 30-to-45-minute closing procedure for any campaign.
- Screen edition plus a plain-white printer-friendly edition, US Letter.
- All five endings as plain text for GM notes and VTT prep.
- Bookmarked PDF with no lock on it. System-agnostic. No rules text.
Five First Sessions opens what this book closes. The Party Ledger holds the record of everything in between, and its last page is worth filling out the same night. Either book works on its own.
